About us

The Cholsey Horticultural Society (formerly the Cholsey and Moulsford Allotment and Cottage Gardeners Association) was founded in 1942 and a trading store and Flower Show was established in 1943.  Affiliated to the RHS, Cholsey HortSoc is still run by a team of volunteers, with a formally elected committee. Its AGM takes place at the start of each growing year in February, which is advertised here and on social media, and to its members. It also keeps up the tradition of popping up notices around the village too for people to see what's going on.
