Cholsey HortSoc runs a number of events each year for its local community, including plant sales, seed ordering offers, talks/demonstrations and day trips to gardens and nurseries of seasonal or other interest. And not forgetting our annual village show! See below for upcoming dates for your diary.

Food Growing Approaches of a Lifelong Plantsman
An illustrated talk by Cholsey allotmenteer and food growing mentor, Richard James
As an experienced kitchen gardener of 25 years, and wildlife gardener for over 35 years, Richard James has built an intuitive food growing system.

We are looking forward to welcoming Richard for his first public talk. Come along and take away tips and techniques that work in any growing space — large or small, including no-dig, companion planting, and creating features to attract beneficial wildlife.

You may have walked past Richard's plot on the Station Road allotments - next to the HortSoc's store. Come and find out more.
