Cholsey Village Show is back, taking place on Saturday 22nd August 2026. We've booked the marquee ready for filling with exhibits. We're planning another family friendly day absolutely bursting with activities, entertainment, refreshments, stalls, and more.
We would like to say a massive thank you to our new sponsor, Root One Garden Centre and Cafe. To James Gesner Estate and Lettings Agent for its sponsorship again - look out for their boards around the village. Also to Cholsey Parish Council. Such support means we will can continue to offer free entry to the event, which is celebrating its 83rd year.
Read on below for an idea of what's happening on the day - we're looking forward to seeing everyone!
Entry information
Cholsey is full of incredible bakers, makers, growers and creators and we can't wait to see this year's bumper selection from children and adults. Links to this year's schedule and entry form are below. Schedules are also available at Mr & Mrs Parks and Cholsey Library.

Drop off entries to Cholsey Library, Mr & Mrs Parks or email cholseyvillageshow@gmail.com by Thursday 20th August. Please see entry form regarding late entries. Cost per class is 50p for adults and children's classes will remain free.

Stallholders

Car Boot Sale
There will be a car boot sale taking place alongside the show between 12-4. Cholsey Volunteers are running this, email cholseyvolunteers@gmail.com to book a pitch.
Dog Show
We will be hosting another dog show! Registration is from 2pm on the day and entries cost £2 per category. We're keeping an eye on the forecast to protect the wellbeing of the pooches. A final decision will take place around noon on the day of the show - keep an eye on our Facebook page.
Football Skills Competition
A big thank you to Cholsey Bluebirds who will be running free fun football skills competitions for all ages. Head to the
main arena from 2 - 3 pm. Just turn up, have a go and show up your superb talents!
Tennis Fun
A thank you too to Cholsey Tennis Club, who will be open during the show for people to have a try out on the courts - entrance next to the Pavilion. Do we have any budding champions amongst us?
Show Raffle
Time to buy your raffle tickets! This year's top prize is £100 and we are also offering other prizes including a Mr and Mrs Parks voucher, and a goody hamper from Rowse Honey , vouchers from Waterperry Garden, the Corn Exchange, and lots more! The price per ticket is £1, or a £5 book of five. Look out for the stand on the day. You can also order books in advance - email cholseyhortsoc@gmail.com to find out more.
